    Your self-acceptance project.

For self-acceptance I invite you to ask WHO AM I? Sure, we grow and change. Learn new things. Meet new people. Cut our hair. Make money. Get sick. Run the marathon. Grow old. There’s so much change. But does it change who we really are? And, how do we discover who we really are? Do we even care? Is it something we just know? Do we have to work at it? Does our self-awareness and self-acceptance deepen over time?
I think about these things constantly. I’ve learned that who I really am, is really who I am in relation to Spirit. When I define myself this way I discover my truepower—power here not meaning control or manipulation. Rather, it means harnessing the power of the Universe or Life’s power through my life, so that in partnership with it I can create the life I was truly meant to live and be the best person I can be. Self-acceptance in it’s highest form.
What does this look like in my life? Meeting the right person at the right time, like the person I met on Google+ yesterday. The perfect opportunities presenting themselves at the perfect time. Like being asked to be interviewed on “Face the Book” about my forthcoming book, Finding Zoe just when I needed the practice. (Did I make these things happen? Yes and No. I did the work and then I let it happen.) It looks like feeling loved and supported all the time. This doesn’t mean that I don’t get sick, that people don’t let me down or that I don‘t let myself down. No, it means trusting that these things—and everything—that happens to me is filling some need, whether I understand it at the time, at a later time, or never. Is it easy to live this way? No But then it isn’t easy to live any other way, either.
